Happy 2007 | Manigong Bagong Taon.
Key words for this year: BREATHE, SMILE, MOVE, LOVE, GRAVITY.
Upcoming event: I’m reading at City Lights Bookstore on 1/24 as part of the Small Press Distributions “New Lit Generation” series. Please scroll to bottom of this Blog for details.
My recent trip to the Mamaland reaffirms why I became a writer in the first place. To document, to observe, to learn and to render, to put down on paper visions/feelings/sensations that just need to be let free. To manifest the felt into something tangible. To pass along.
I’m grateful for all of the blessings I’ve had over the past 3 decades…including your presence as my supporters and my community. Ang pamilya ko!
For the New Year…wishing you vision and strength…knowing that you are held by the ancestors and the ones who have yet to follow.
