DONATE NOW / MAKE HISTORY

Be a part of MAKING HISTORY!

In order to develop and stage a NEW work-in-progress of A History of the Body, along with two workshops, “In This Skin” at the Oakland Asian Cultural Center in 2012-13, we recently received a commission from the East Bay Community Foundation which will enable us to have a residency and staged work in progress showing at the OACC in May 2013.  But we are still raising support for our WORLD PREMIERE in Fall 2013, tentatively at Bindlestiff Studios.  Be a part of the world premiere by contributing towards  artist fees and the space for workshops, a reading, and a full run of shows.Click on the image to the left or HERE to view the new 4-minute video trailer, featuring snippets from the play, an interview with Aimee Suzara and a song by Charmaine Clamor.

Make a direct donation to our History of the Body Account with the below button:

Or, you may also make a tax-deductible donation by sending a check (note: A History of the Body) written out to CounterPULSE, and sending it to: Aimee Suzara/A History of the Body, PO Box 10732, Oakland, CA 94610. Or simply send a check written directly to Aimee Suzara for direct contribution to A History of the Body.
Thanks for your support!

Performance, like education, needs endowments because it is an intangible until you begin to understand its ongoing effect and value in our society at large. As a passionate advocate of the arts and education, I encourage you to support Aimee Suzara and her project A History of the Body in its efforts to do both.”  – Ellen Sebastian Chang
