Inspired by the work of authors like Gloria Anzaldua, the queer Chicana writer whose LA FRONTERA called for authentic expression, hybrid tongues and identities, and bringing my 20+ years of teaching, writing and performing, I founded WILD TONGUES Writing Coaching & Consulting to help others find and boldly express their authentic voices.

I’ve been writing as long as I can remember, since my first “book” in first grade, minored in creative writing and received my M.F.A. in Creative Writing, and have taught poetry-and spoken-word, then all kinds of creative writing workshops since 2001. I’ve toured and performed and taught workshops all around the country and I’m excited and passionate about offering my skills and experience to support you on your writing path! Invite me to help bring out your writing voice, strengthen your craft, explore topics, and to centralize and prioritize your writing in a number of ways I will tailor to your needs.
